We created Generic Skateboards due to the saturation of the skateboard industry. Skateboard companies are popping up all over the place, many having little or nothing to offer, and existing solely because they can. But we're not here to knock anyone down. Point is, the irony of naming the brand Generic and my lifelong dream of creating a skateboard company were too enticing to resist. And so here we are. But what are we? Are we your friendly fun company? The next DGK? Are we another art-based company? Do we tuck in our shirts? Well, the truth is, we're just another skateboard company...barely a skateboard company.
